Henrietta L. Galiana is a Professor Emerita in Biomedical Engineering at McGill University, with over 35 years of research dedicated to understanding and modeling the neural control of eye-head coordination. Her work on the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) and related ocular systems forms the scientific foundation underpinning NeuroFlex’s approach to eye-head reflex assessment.

Her research integrates biosignal processing, computational modeling, and system identification to quantify complex reflex dynamics, including nystagmus and nonlinear behaviour.
